Investor relations
Back a networkthat already runs.
Plugsurge owns and operates EV chargers at sites where cars already stop. The software, payments, monitoring and field team exist today. Capital goes into chargers.
The thesis
Why charging belongs where cars already park.
I
Demand is already parked
Cars spend most of their day stationary at homes, offices, malls and restaurants. Charging belongs where the car already waits, not at a detour.
II
Hosts have bays, not capital
Site owners want charging but not the capex, wiring, billing or upkeep. A zero-cost, profit-sharing offer removes every reason to say no.
III
Uptime is the business
A charger earns only when it works. Owning the software that monitors and repairs every unit is what keeps utilisation and margins up.
The model
How does Plugsurge make money?
Plugsurge earns on every unit of electricity sold at chargers it owns. After electricity, maintenance, software and payment costs, profit is split 80% to Plugsurge and 20% to the site host.
The host contributes bays and access. Plugsurge contributes the hardware, installation, operations and the driver relationship.
- Revenue
- Per-unit charging fees paid by drivers
- Direct costs
- Electricity, maintenance, software, payment processing
- Capital
- Chargers and installation, owned by Plugsurge
- Host cost
- ₹0, with 20% of profit paid monthly
Why Plugsurge
An operator that owns its whole stack.
Many charging operators license their software and outsource their field work. Plugsurge does neither.
- Own software
- OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1 management platform, built in-house since 2021. No per-charger licence paid to a third party.
- Own payments
- Scan-to-pay sessions, invoicing per transaction and T+3 settlement on the same stack.
- Own field team
- Five years installing and commissioning chargers across Bengaluru.
- Open protocols
- OCPI roaming and OpenADR mean more drivers per site and load that respects the grid.

Investor questions
The short answers.
How does Plugsurge make money?
Plugsurge earns from every unit of electricity sold at chargers it owns and operates. After electricity, maintenance, software and payment costs, the profit is split 80% to Plugsurge and 20% to the site host.
What does investment in Plugsurge fund?
Capital funds charging hardware and installation at signed host sites. The management software, payments, monitoring and field operations already exist and are run by Plugeasy, so new capital goes into revenue-producing chargers.
How is Plugsurge related to Plugeasy?
Plugsurge is the managed-charging brand of Plugeasy Technologies Private Limited. Plugeasy builds the charging management software used by operators across India. Plugsurge uses that same platform to own and run its own charging network.
