Plugsurge

Since 2021 · Bengaluru

Built by the people whowrite the charging software.

Plugsurge is the managed charging brand of Plugeasy Technologies Private Limited. Plugeasy has spent five years installing chargers and writing the software that keeps them online. Plugsurge is where we own the equipment, run it and look after the customer.

Who we are

Plugeasy builds the platform. Plugsurge runs the network.

Plugeasy makes the charging management software used by charge point operators, charger makers and installers across India. It speaks OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1, roams over OCPI and manages load with OpenADR.

Plugsurge puts that platform to work on our own network. We fund the chargers, install them at host sites, operate them day to day and share the profit with the host. Fleet hubs, highway stations, apartment complexes and parking networks are all part of the plan.

Plugeasy Technologies Private Limited is a government of india recognised ev-infrastructure startup.

How we work

Four rules we run the network by.

Chargers that work
Uptime is the product. We would rather run fewer chargers well than many chargers badly.
Numbers you can check
Hosts see units, revenue, costs and their share every month. Investors see the same data we do.
No lock-in
Open protocols, mixed hardware and software we can change ourselves. Nothing in the network depends on one vendor.
Nothing extra for the host
If a host's staff ever have to deal with a charger, we have not done our job.
